Yonkers trio The LOX come from Dee and Waah’s Ruff Ryders crew, having gone on to make hits at Bad Boy, foster their own D-Block movement, and then deliver countless street classics as solo artists. Both collectives feature prolific MCs whose output spans decades. ![]() ![]() King of New York hasn’t been a title people have argued over since maybe the days of JAY-Z and Nas beefing, but in the time since those two titans clashed, a great many crews have claimed to, at some point, “run the city.” Two of the most deserving of said claim-The LOX and Dipset-will come together on August 3 at Madison Square Garden to showcase their very rich catalogs and face off for bragging rights.
